Our founding story is distinctively unique – and I’m happy to say we have a way of carrying that legendary spirit into each of our Member-hosted engagements. From indoor venues to riverside backdrops, if you can envision it, we can create it. Whether the occasion calls for lifting a veil, hoisting a trophy, or raising a champagne flute, Champions Retreat is designed to entertain and celebrate.

The three iconic 9-holes always impress, the cuisine defines farm-to-table, and the Cottages cultivate casually refined hospitality. For the big gatherings, the beauty of our surroundings and dedication to Southern hospitality merge at The Barn, the rustic-chic space raised to accommodate you and 399 of your closest friends.

With rustic luxury, distinguished service, and a tradition for delivering big moments, Champions Retreat is your blank canvas to stage with surprise and delight. Beautiful views of the Savannah River, lush green forest scenery, and three golf courses are perfectly primed for group outings, while a variety of venues accommodate a range of celebration sizes. The secret ingredient to any event might just be our culinary magic. Locally sourced and chef-driven, our offerings proudly showcase flavorful, seasonal Southern cuisine that delights every palate. In addition to full dinner menus, we provide custom and a la carte selections specific to your vision and occasion… perfect wine pairings with our in-house sommelier and signature libations are just a few ways we’ll make a big impression.

 

TEE TO TABLE

Indulge your group with endless terrain and turnkey production across three championship courses, then bring the outing home for the trophy celebration. Our Pro Staff works in coordination, as elaborate or casual as your event demands, to handle all of the game flow details. Commandeer the Cottages for an all-around win.

Our gracious hospitality is just that. The perfect nonprofit event requires more than a great venue, and our team has years of experience partnering with philanthropic organizations, associations, schools, government agencies, and other community-based groups to host fundraisers, auctions, dinners, and a variety of functions that celebrate and support our community.

PRIVATE VENUES

From indoor venues to river-side backdrops, if you can dream it… we can create it.

The Barn
No matter the occasion – from wedding receptions to backyard BBQs – The Barn at Champions Retreat is the place to celebrate. Accommodating events of all sizes and types, this grand rustic-chic space can host private events from 15-500 guests.

The Grille House
The Grille House offers a refined southern atmosphere with flexible indoor/outdoor space. Our fine-dining experience offers 2, 3 or 4 course menu options featuring consummate choices of appetizers, salads, entrées, desserts and shared platters.

Bluff Overlook
A private space with a million-dollar view, this wraparound deck offers an elevated stage for hosting more intimate gatherings of 15-50 people. Look here for memorable cocktail parties and social hours idyllically framed by golf course vistas.

Deck 5
Cocktail parties and dinner events don’t get more scenic than this. Our outdoor deck on the Savannah River features fantastic views of our Island course and the casual splendor of the Augusta countryside. Deck 5 is ideal for dinners and drinks for 50 to 100 people.

MASTERS WEEK

There’s no better time to bring your VIPs to Champions Retreat!

Book a tee time and impress your guests over ‘The Big Three’ championship courses that also play host to the first two rounds of the Augusta National Women’s Amateur.

Swing in the evenings on the Driving Range and Putting Green, activated nightly with a bar and music.

Throw a party at The Grille House or Bluff Overlook for your guest list of up to 50 people.

Flavor the occasion with gourmet à la carte dishes from our Champions Steakhouse Menu featuring delicious, authentic Southern cuisine.

Stay in luxury and rent a Cottage for the week – a perfect HQ for all of the festivities.

In collaboration with unparalleled scenic beauty, our onsite team of meeting and catering professionals always delivers. Enlist our extensive knowledge and expertise to help plan and perfectly execute your celebration, down to the smallest detail.

We expertly customize our amenities and services to reflect your creative vision across signature menus, best-in-class service, and all the signature touches required for a transformative engagement.

In addition to providing specific services and amenities, we also offer preferred-vendor guides and can coordinate with other third-party service providers when appropriate, including: florists, bakers, transportation, photographers, entertainment, AV & lighting, and more.

CHEF'S TABLES

For those with an appetite for entertaining, our Chef’s Table experience is one for the books. Assemble your group of up to 20 people, choose your preferred menu, and let our culinary visionaries put their skills and service on display. Each course is paired with a 4-oz glass of wine handpicked by our sommelier.
